At The Bothy, I treat everything you share with care, respect, and confidentiality. I collect only the information necessary to provide therapy responsibly, such as contact details, appointment records, and brief session notes. All personal information is stored securely on a password-protected computer and is accessible only to me.

Your information is kept only as long as required for therapeutic and legal purposes and is then securely deleted. You have the right to request access to, or correction of, the information I hold about you. Everything shared in therapy remains confidential and is not disclosed to third parties, except where required by law or where there is a serious concern for safety.

I provide therapy in accordance with professional standards and Dutch legislation, including the Wkkgz. My Wkkgz compliance and professional complaints and dispute resolution arrangements are organised via NIBIG. I also hold professional indemnity insurance (beroepsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering), arranged through NIBIG with Balens. If you have any concerns or complaints, I encourage you to discuss them with me and I can provide further information if needed.

I hold AGB codes (AGB-zorgverlener: 90096627, AGB-praktijk: 90121575). An AGB code identifies registered healthcare providers and practices in the Netherlands and may allow you to claim (partial) reimbursement through your aanvullende verzekering, depending on your insurer and policy.

 

Cancellation Policy

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed sessions are charged at 50% of the session fee. For multi-session packages, a late cancellation or missed session will be deducted from the package.
