At the Bothy, I handle what you share with care and respect.

I only keep the information needed to make the sessions possible and to work thoughtfully with you, such as contact details, appointments, and brief session notes. This information is stored securely on a password-protected computer and is only accessible to me. Your information is not shared with anyone else unless you give permission or the law requires it.

I keep your information only as long as needed for therapy and legal requirements, and then it is securely deleted. You can always ask to see or correct the information I hold about you. What you share in therapy stays private, except where the law requires disclosure for safety or legal reasons.
I provide therapy responsibly and with care, in line with professional standards and Dutch law 
(Wkkgz). If you have any concerns or complaints, you are welcome to discuss them with me. I have arranged a recognised professional dispute resolution procedure, should it be necessary, and can provide information about this if needed.

I am fully trained and listed in the recognised quality register. My professional liability insurance will be active shortly, as a small administrative detail is being finalised with the accrediting association.

 

I hold professional liability insurance (beroepsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering) through Balens via NIBIG, covering my work as a therapist. My practice also operates under the WkGGZ regeling (the Dutch Healthcare Agreement for Specialized Mental Health Care), also facilitated through NIBIG. Both arrangements are active and renewed annually, ensuring my practice meets professional standards and providing reassurance to clients. This supports a safe, trustworthy, and holistic therapeutic space.
 

 

 

 

 

Cancellation Policy 
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. 
For single sessions, late cancellations or missed sessions are charged at half the session fee. 
For multi-session packages, a missed or late-cancelled session is deducted from the package, so the remaining sessions can be scheduled with care.
